Meet the Author

Hi, I'm K.M. Wolfe!

Former teacher and principal. Cheer mom. Theater mom. Storyteller.

I've always believed that the best stories come from real experiences. The friendships, challenges, unexpected moments, and lessons that stay with us long after they're over. Those are the stories I love bringing to life.

Before becoming an author, I spent years working in education as both a teacher and school principal. Working with students of different ages gave me a front-row seat to the friendships, challenges, successes, and occasional chaos that come with growing up.

Outside of education, I've spent more than a decade navigating the world of All Star cheer as a parent. I've experienced the practices, competitions, travel weekends, changing teams, incredible friendships, and enough rhinestones to last a lifetime.

Somewhere between school hallways, cheer gyms, and theater productions, I found plenty of inspiration for the stories I wanted to tell.

Behind the Stories

My books are about more than the activity at the center of the story.

Whether my characters are stepping onto a competition mat or auditioning for a theater production, they're also figuring out friendships, handling disappointment, facing consequences, finding confidence, and learning when to speak up.

They make mistakes. They get frustrated. They don't always make the best decisions.

And that's kind of the point.

I want young readers to recognize situations they've experienced, see characters who aren't perfect, and discover that mistakes don't have to define what happens next.

If a story makes someone laugh, keeps them turning pages, or starts a conversation that matters, then it's doing exactly what I hoped it would.

Thanks for stopping by and getting to know a little about the person behind the books!
